We purchased a solar charger from Solartech at the Port of Orillia Boat and Cottage show! Great product, works so fast! We’re boaters and it’s important to be able to charge our devices without depleting the boats batteries. Power anywhere we need it to charge our phones, watches, iPads etc... loved it so much we just purchased another charger for a Christmas gift for my brother. Sheri and Patrick are awesome people, great service and answered all our questions and concerns.

We purchased a battery and solar system during the 2019 Toronto boat show in January. It completely changed our boating experience. Before installing 220W system we could only be on the water for 2 days before our batteries were too low to keep up with both fridges and other power needs. After assessing our needs and usage Patrick had recommended a system and we made the leap. We can now spend as long as we want at anchor and are not constrained by our lack of an onboard generator. This previous summer we spent 5 consecutive days anchored in one spot without starting an engine or generator. Our batteries were always in good health and there was no worry of fridges spoiling food or warm drinks! It has completely ridden the worries of batteries dropping too low and we will be installing solar from SunTech solar on the next boat when it is time to upgrade!

REVIEW: I was very impressed with how Sun Tech and Pat looked after the solar project on my Ranger Tug R21. We jumped into solar power on our 42' cruiser last year with the help of Patrick & Sherri Tasse from SunTech. They took the time to learn what our power needs really were, sized up the appropriate system and helped us every step of the way. Our battery bank never went below 11.4V, even when we sat for 2 or 3 days. We purchased the first two solar panels back in 2017 and added another one the next year to our 35 ft trawler positioned in Georgian Bay. Right from the start at the booth at the Toronto Boat Show, we were engaged on the benefits and support to owning this technology. It has meant that we can supplement and use less of our generator to provide power. We have had great support, no real issues to speak of with their product or service.
